Olbra

The app

Your money, in three currencies, on one screen

A current account, a currency exchange, a savings position and a card — built by a company a European regulator supervises. Opening across the European Economic Area in waves.

The account

It does the four things you actually use an account for

Złoty, euro and dollar side by side in one account. There is no primary currency and no conversion when you switch between them, because you are not switching accounts.

Hold three currencies at once

Złoty, euro and dollar sit side by side in one account. There is no primary currency and no conversion when you switch between them, because you are not switching accounts.

Move between them at close to interbank

You see the rate before you confirm, and the fee is a stated number rather than a spread you have to reverse‑engineer from the rate you were given.

Send for nothing, at any hour

Transfers to another Olbra account are free and settle in seconds. Weekends and public holidays do not exist on this rail, so a Sunday morning payment arrives on Sunday morning.

Pay someone who has not joined yet

Send to a phone number or an email address. They get a link, install the app and claim it. Until they do, the money is still yours and you can take it back.

A transfer, in full

Free, in seconds, on a Sunday

This is the whole cost of moving money between two Olbra accounts. There is no spread underneath it and no cut‑off waiting for Monday.

Fee, Olbra to Olbra

zł 0.00 — not a promotional rate, and not recovered in the exchange rate.

Arrival

Seconds, at any hour. Weekends and public holidays do not exist on this rail.

To someone without the app

Send to a phone number or an email address. Until they claim it, the money is still yours.

What they need

The app and one identity check. No account number to copy out.

Earning

Money you are not using should not sit flat

Most of what sits in a current account does nothing until you spend it. Here, the part you are not using goes into a savings position you can leave at any moment.

What the rate follows

Short‑term rates in your currency, not a number we set for marketing.

Getting out

Any time. No notice period and no lock‑up.

Why the balance itself cannot pay

E‑money is legally prohibited from paying interest, so earning is a separate position you move into.

What it is not

Not a deposit, and not covered by any deposit‑guarantee scheme.

The savings position carries capital at risk. It is a different instrument from your balance, with a different risk profile.

Spending

A card that spends the balance you already hold

Savings you cannot spend are an investment product. The card is what turns the balance back into money.

Spend from any currency

Pick which balance the card draws on, or let it choose the one that avoids a conversion entirely.

Earning until the moment you pay

Money leaves the savings position when the transaction authorises, not the day before in case you might spend it.

In Apple Pay in minutes

A virtual card issues on verification and works straight away. A metal one follows in the post.

Rewards on what you spend

Earned on card spending. The terms are published before the card ships.

Questions

Before you join

Do I need to know anything about crypto?

No. You will not see a chain name, a gas fee or a hexadecimal address anywhere in the normal flow. The tokens underneath are electronic money denominated in złoty, euro and dollar, which is why the balance in the app matches the number you would expect.

Who holds my money?

The keys are on your phone and you control them, so we cannot move your balance. The currency backing it is held by Olbra ApS in segregated accounts, apart from our own funds, and you can redeem it at par at any time.

Is my balance protected like a bank deposit?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Electronic money is not a deposit and is not covered by a deposit‑guarantee scheme. It is backed by reserves held apart from company funds and redeemable at par on demand. The risk disclosure sets out what that does and does not mean.

What happens if I lose my phone?

You recover on a new device through the same sign‑in you already use. There is no seed phrase to have written down, and no twelve words for someone else to find.

What does it cost?

Holding money, receiving it and sending it to another Olbra account are free. Currency exchange and cashing out to a bank account carry a stated fee, published in the app before you confirm anything.

When does it open where I live?

The app opens across the European Economic Area first, on the Danish licence, starting with Poland. Markets after that follow where the local payment rails are ready.

The money in the app is money we issue.

That is the claim a neobank built on someone else's bank cannot make. The licence, the reserves and the contracts are all checkable today.
